DESCRIPTION:
French, Japy, Ormolu figural clock, c.1840, 8-day bell strike, silk thread suspension, showing a boy kneeling at top, as-found.
CONDITION:
there is no pendulum, minute hand is changed, porcelain dial repairs at 9 & at winding arbors. The gilt bronze case itself is still quite bright. Movement is complete and sound, needs cleaning. Ht 13"
